This really is a tough one. Lemme go ahead and list what I liked for each console, then for each background (style).
NES: The Legend of Zelda
SNES: A Link to the Past
GB/GBC: Oracle of Ages/Seasons (It's a duo-game so both need to be put there)
N64: Ocarina of Time
GBA: The Minish Cap
GameCube: Ocarina of Time: Master Quest (never played a GameCube, put I played the GC-only OoT MQ as a N64 ROM so that counts right?)
Wii: none, but Twilight Princess is currently the only one so TP (never played a Wii either -_-)
Favorite Platform: Ocarina of Time
Favorite Portable: Oracle of Ages/Seasons

I didnt like TP.
But, mines Oracle of Ages. Purely Because of the ammount of time me and my brother spent playing them.
It was a game we often played, like PKMN red and blue.
Oh, He had Seasons. And we would sit there for hours talking and playing it.
God, I wish that happened with games now-a-Days.

I hold on to more of my older games than with the newer ones. It's a shame that people refuse to play them as often as the newer ones. Screw your 3D PSP game, slap an emu onto it and play PKMN Yellow. Forget your Gears of War, try playing Super Smash Bros instead. I already made it my new year's resolution to limit my play of new games and to go back and play the best-of-the-best and al-time classics. I'm sure some of you will agree with me on thisa, others may just want to sit and chainsaw (zombies? aliens? alien zombies?) instead of looking at a simple 2-button side-scroller. Owell, have fun playing your game over again when you beat it in 5 hours, I'll still be here trying to 100% complete Pokemon Yellow

yeah, he kinda has a point. it's a different feeling when you actually complete a game instead of beating it.
if you think about it, how many of the newer games have you COMPLETED? not running through it in a couple of hours and defeating the final boss, but completing the game?
there's just something about those old games..... that's why some of them can cost more than the newer ones.

I got rid of my GBASP unfortunately, and my DS is looking like it's final moments are near. I believe it's time to mod the DS and get back into the GBA action (I'm sick of emu's, but playing it on a PSP isn't too much different, same dimensions really as well as better no-crash performance. Buyt then again I miss out on the ol' DAMMIT! moments where you get so far, don't save, and the game crashes. It's unfortunate, but I kinda miss having the crashes and the freezing :/).
Anywhos, there's probably some other SNES TLOZ out there but I can't think of it. Anyone have any ideas? There's no way there was onl;y a single TLOZ release for SNES.

There are some.
My favourite is the Oracle games. Followed by Twilight Princess for it's Sheer size and some of the dungeons.

^ lol, well, unfortunately today, there are not many people willing to carry around a GameBoy or hacked PSP to play with. The oracel games were extremely fun when you had someone with you playing it (especially if you both started at the same time and helped each other the way it was meant to be, ex: there is a part where you name a child, the opposite orcale game contains the correct name that will give you a present.) Not to mention that thise games were highly involved with each other when you beat them through once. Codes... So very many codes...

damn it I never tried both at once. I did it first one then the other. Then went back to the first and played that through with the code from the end of the second. They were pretty challenging.

It's still amazing how long they were. Although it would occasionally be repetitive work, it would all poy off when you literally had nothing left to look for. That is the greatest accomplishment for a gamer - %100.

Lol, I've only managed to 100% a game a handful of times, but it just so happens they were all TLOZ ones XD. I find OoT to be by far the easiest one to 100% since you really can't miss much except for those Golden Skullatas. Besides them, you really don't have much to search for...
