The port we used to use doesn't return anything at all when accessed in a browser, so I guess the service isn't running. I assume the radio software is installed on the server, but I'm afraid I'm not sure.

Pretty sure it was port 8100, but I can't get anything out of that.

I know, I tried.

Yesterday I noticed I had Winamp installed but I actually don't use that. "Why?" I thought and remembered it was for Animeb Radio. For teh lulz I downloaded the plug-in and set everything up only to get no connection. Hence I wondered what happened.

Maybe Style-sama could start the service up and whatever the other thing that had to be done last time..

service may indeed be started. I've now had a chance to check through the settings I have access to and the port's been changed Port 8000, my good sir, appears to be open for use. Give it a go!

Well then it's my great honour to announce that our modem has died... Luckily, if my land lord's friend agrees, we can borrow his (or her, I honestly don't know) modem (exact same model, I've already configured wired and wireless connections to give us no problems) during hour night times.

I still can't seem to connect. I'm using the latest Winamp (classic skin, like that matters ) together with SHOUTcast plug-in. I've also tried using an empty playlist, a populated playlist and a populated playlist with music already playing. As well as SHOUTcast v1 (for legacy servers)

well them's the settings it looks like it's expecting. I can't test it that well because I no longer have a permanent Windows machine, but I'll try grabbing WinAmp and setting up again.

If anyone else could give it a try too, that'd be nice

So I managed to get a hold of the amazing Style-sama and he cleared a few things up:

• The animeb radio was borrowed and is now in use by #vhs.
• Style-sama is awesome.
• Due to disuse he didn't install a new radio.
• He's going to install a new one.
• Same settings, different port.
• Style-sama is still awesome.

also, I always thought port 7000 was an IRC port don't get 'em confused.

Anyway, I see your test server broadcast is up and working. Good job pinning Style down til he got some work done We need people using it to justify keeping it, so get spinnin' them discs

For now I just got all the Love Hina related audio I ever found in the playlist. I'll make a decent one later.

Now all we need is a player on the forum page ^^
