My Hero Academia
Okay, okay, I know this one is mainstream but...
It's quite enjoyable. It really is, unlike a lot of former mainstream.
I don't know. Maybe it's something about having an anime focusing on Super Heroes in the making, coupled with this being the Era of cape-shit (I do rather like my cape-shit.)
I watched it dubbed, and recently was looking for something to watch while building Magic: The Gathering decks and doing other things. It's nice to not have to pay attention for subs for a change.
What really got me was hearing the old Full Metal Alchemist cast. That was both surprising, and quite nice.
Looking forward to Deku vs Bakugo round 3. It should come eventually.
(For the record, this is an anime based around a society where quirks (aka: Super powers) are found in 80% of the population. The main character doesn't have a quirk. His hero, All-Might, chooses him as a successor and does something apparently otherwise not possible: Passes his quirk down to the main, who then has to learn to become a super hero through a school known as UA.)Last edited by Tyroki; 1 Nov 2018 at 6:34 am.

PLUS ULTRA
I've watched the first two seasons and I'm quite impressed with how the fights are set up. Animation is fluid, nice detail where it's needed but never feeling cluttered, clashes of ideologies, mostly quite creative powers (though anime has been pretty good with that generally). The basis alone is everything you'd need for a good shounen super hero fight anime, and this has more.
I kinda just wanna keep it at that and tell people to go watch it....
Also best girls are
Looks: Toru
Character: Tsuyu
Fan service ideas: Momo
