Baby Steps
Yes it is also an anime, but I much rather prefer the manga.
Great story, I am a huge fan of sports manga (slam dunk being my fav manga of all time). But I am a bigger fan of a sports manga with a great focus on character development and romance. The subgenre which Adachi Mitsuru perfected with his manga.
This serie falls under that category and it is just so entertaining.
The story is about a middle school honor student who falls in love with tennis, he incorporates his talents for analytics and stats into his tennis. The manga is quite fastpaced, but has very drawn out and detailed tennismatch chapters.
As of November 25th, it is at chapter 329 on Mangarock

Read the manga, watched most of the anime.
Kind of dropped it as I was up to date for awhile, decided to give it time to stack.
It was an interesting focus, especially considering his age when he got into Tennis and the steps he NEEDED to take in order to stay anywhere within a pro range. I enjoyed it when I watched or read it.
