So I bought a new gaming pc
Just curious what kind of beasts you guys have.
I am not that much of a PC Gamer, my fingers and keyboards don't match
But I updated my PC today with this:
i5 Core
GTX 1060
32 GB Ram
MSi Optix curved monitor 27"
I am quite happy, enough power to play my blizzard games again
ps: On second thought, is this topic better for Multimedia?

I've abandoned ship with Blizzard entirely.
Now that we know for sure Activision's influence is destroying them from the inside, I'm just happy I was right about where their future lay when Activision added themselves to the name.
Let them rot.
As for your computer, it's better than mine, at least with the RAM. I have half the RAM, but a 1070.
I WAS using 3 monitors, but my third has finally died. Downside to taking freebees.◕ ‿‿ ◕

Do you not have a phone?
Memeing aside, here's my current frankenstein monster (every detail I could find);
Monitor: 2x AOC G2460F Hard drive: Crucial CT480M500 SSD (480GB - OS, Programs), Crucial CT960M500 SSD (960 GB - Games) Motherboard: ASRock X399 Taichi PSU: Corsair AX860 CPU Cooler: Fractal Design Celsius S24 CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X GPU: AMD R9 290 RAM: 2x Ballistix Tactical DDR4 8GB 2666 MHz Keyboard: Ducky Zero DK2108S Mouse: Sharkoon Drakonia laser mouse MIDI synth: Roland MT-32 ('Old' model, rev 0) Audio Interface: Roland Rubix44 Headphones: Sennheiser HD 4.20s Microphone: Sennheiser E 835 S Preamp: ART TubeMP StudioV3 Case: Thermaltake Core V71
Some additions need to be made. First and foremost, a current GPU.
After that I need to buy an additional 8TB drive + RAID card.
Possibly a new preamp too.Last edited by Mr.Anderson; 28 Nov 2018 at 12:48 pm.

I quite like the case.
Aside from the one at the back (near the I/O) all perforated air in/out takes have easily removable dust filters. The bottom one even being split in 2 for PSU in the back and fans or liquid in the front.
There's massive amounts of space for liquid cooling (in fact, the CPU cooler is an All In One, I believe the term is, liquid cooler. So it's a cooling block, pipes, radiator, and fans in one package). Though that does remove the LED fans on top in my case. You could, however, mount them in front or at the bottom too.
All those delicious toolless drive trays (even the two 5 1/4" ones in front), in fact I already have 2 of the 3 8TB HDDs I want for my RAID array.
Integrated fan controller for the front and top fans.
Lots of space for cable management.
4 giant feet lifting it a bit off the ground.
Pretty cool one.
