The 'nana bunch

I've been working, quite long days, but making up for it by playing Angry Birds whenever I can. My scores are good enough to count me as perhaps a slightly above average player, judging by the leaderboards on AngryBirdsNest

I'm also reading the Wizard of Id collection book for strips published during 1972. The humour is old and some of it does go slightly over my head but mostly it's relatable and hilarious. I love Johnny Hart and Brant Parker's work My dad got the 1971 collection for Christmas. It's considered impolite to raid someone's present stash before they've had a chance to read through their books, but it is tempting.

For the commute and bedtime reading (when I'm not Birding) I'm reading up on the Cisco Voice exam book I got for Christmas. Related to work, sure, but interesting and challenging as heck The company we merged with uses a Cisco phone system, and that looks like the way we're headed across the board, and they need someone else who understands the platform. It's voice, it's phones, it's Cisco... I'm all for it
